Adventuring through Tyria, I have moved from Shiverpeak Mountains through parts of Ascalon and Kryta. I have found some riches and made some great friends at some of the many taverns. I never dreamed that in my adventures that I would find another Norn.
Especially not one as strikingly handsome as the warrior Xeyden. He was a recent edition to a guild my ancestors were associated with, one particular evening we by perchance were exploring and mapping Timberline Falls. It is best to run with a pack than alone, always good to have someone at your back.
I had adventured through a few very dangerous quests with this warrior before a few fellow guild-mates introduced us as we were cutting through ghosts in the crypts of Ascalon. However this had to be the first time I had adventured alone with a guild-mate, since I first left Hoelbrak I had been more of a lone wolf, stalking and hunting alone. Blackriven - the tiny Norn Thief
As the runt of my pack I seek to prove myself in Wolf and Snow Leopard's name. Even though I have a small stature my pack respected me from a young age due to my cunningness and tenacity for that's how I got my name Blackriven. Black like death who creeps in the night and Riven to rive, tear, rip apart to shreds. I tracked my prey watching from the shadows waiting with baited breath for the perfect moment to strike, weakening it, crippling it for my pack to strike the killing blow. I exhibit the stealth of Snow Leopard and the tracking skill of Wolf
Now I am grown, my pack can not teach me much more and I must explore the world for myself. I know I can always return to my pack but I am not ready to go back. I left a runt and will return a legend.
The Spirit of Wolf has recently granted me the honor of transforming to her image upon occasion in battle, it has made me realise although right now I travel solo many times I always have the Spirit of Wolf with me, as I follow prey and Snow Leopard paw guiding me as I stealth through the trees like the whisper of the wind.

Some say I'm a dwarf, in fact that's why I had to leave my elven village. The village elders believed I am a dwarf and were pretty uncomfortable with my presence in the village. Especially when I came top of my archery class. So I'm pretty short for an elf but I can shoot a bow like an elf. So I must be an elf. My elven mother told me I was special from the day she found me. She told me I was destined for great things with my talented singing and my ability to shoot 'as good as any elf'.
With Telara in trouble I am honoured to be chosen by the Gods. Mother was right there was a reason I came to her as a babe, she encouraged my singing, taught me to communicate with animals and to shoot a bow straight.
Life was great until the village was attacked by dragons. Due to being different I was blamed for the misfortune the befell our village. My mother was gravely injured in the attacks, on her death bed she told me the truth about how she had found me on a river bank nestled in some reeds...

Took a few hours but we turned T2 completely blue. The lovely tactics and strategic moves to bluff and out smart destruction worked as they often do. Can be rather frustrating for our Order leaders when the Order guys don't follow the orders (aka hiding in the cave as they should). Was exciting laying in wait ready to pounce on an unguarded keep whilst Destruction were scrambling trying to figure out where to go.
Highlight though is having a warband of destruction running away from a small group of Order. We had them running scared there at the end.

Absolutely loved getting back to basics. Was great watching Destruction get outsmarted and outgunned by Order. Several Order were commenting how nice it was to win against Order. We got a few zone flips and had a few players level beyond Tier 1. For me the personal highlights were jumping off the boat at Nordland to flank the incoming Destruction force, hiding in the tavern at Festernplatz and just slaughtering Destruction who kept trying to come in and get us. Heaps of great fun, I might have to reroll a toon for when we do it again!
