Ugggg!!!
I cant say that I hate them, I guess, but I sure don't love them... LOL!!! I'm a very sensitive person by nature, and dislike being "yelled" at very much, and so even-tho this is a game and we are mostly communicating via text in chat, if i perceive that I am being "yelled at" I am most unhappy. :( And as I said I'm a sensitive person, so I'm sure that in some cases if not even most cases that I think I'm being "yelled at" that perhaps it is not really so. So When I muster up enough courage to join a PUG all by my little self "Go Me!!!" *pats self on the back*. I remind myself over and over again "this is just a game, you do this for fun, it does not matter if people get mad at you." and then I smile at myself. I know this all sounds so silly. I really love dungeons ALOT, and I didn't use to be so afraid to go in them, by myself. But I had a few bad runs on my cleric w a few jerks *cries* and it really spoiled it for me. I'm so proud of myself cuz today is one of those days that I got the courage to go in alone...

Tonight I went on my cleric Jewelyn into Caduseas Rise for the first time (i have no idea if i spelled that right). I went w Vanagloria, and Brasa, and Brumb, it was my first time in this particular dungeon as well as being Brasa and Brumb's first dungeon experience. So I asked Vana, as any "good" cleric should what I should expect from the bosses in this dungeon. Vana said w a laugh "Are you kidding? I'm a damage dealer, I point and shoot, and say 'I'm sorry' after I wipe the squad. I don't pay attention to what the bosses do." He was to be our tank... I laughed too. I was not terribly worried tho. Since he and I sit next to each other communication is fairly easy, and he and I work rather well together with me healing him as a tank. We had a lot of fun. I laughed a lot and so did Vana (I know since I sit next to him). We had a few mishaps, which were amusing, for instance, Vana ran past the first boss entirely... Ran right past the platform it was on. When he realized what he had done he started to laugh and said stay away from the platform...

I love to heal, i get such a thrill out of keeping MY SQUAD alive, yes MY SQUAD!!! If your in squad w me and Im the main healer you are in MY SQUAD. I claim possession of the pple in squad w me cuz i take very seriously my responsibility to keeping you all alive. :) However don't let this fool you into thinking i don't like to have fun or know how. I play mmo's for the specific purpose of having fun and therefor do whatever it takes to make that happen. So i have a motto. "NO DEATH = NO FUN!!!" now this does not mean that i'm going to let you die if you are in MY SQUAD. Rather it means that if someone happens to die due to whatever reason I will do my best to have fun w that death rather then stress over it. I like to try and lighten the mood over death cuz death is going to happen sometimes.
Anyways i took a several month break from playing rift before x-mas time due to the holidays and being involved in important things at home w my children and Vanagloria (my real life husband)...

I have been watching for the Rares in Moonshade Highlands to get The Hidden Threat achievement. So almost everyday i go to the locations where they are known to spawn and check to see if they are there. So far I have only 2 of them. Derranged Pyromancer, and Razorfang. Even-tho the achievement only calls for 6 to b killed i want to kill them all just for fun. Hee Hee!!! As i find them I will announce in guild chat that i have and can rally any members of the family who wish to get the kill as well to Moonshade w me. That way we can all get our achievement :)
I started hunting rares in Moonshade cuz i decided to get all the achievements in that zone. So have been getting them one by one over the past week going on two now. It is my desire to get all the achievements in all the zones eventually. I just started in Moonshade cuz i was harvesting mats there working on my crafting skills, and i dislike wasting time very much. So i prefer to do more then one thing at a time. I had not done any of the quests in the area (cuz i dont particularly enjoy questing lol) so i grabbed them as i went through the area skinning animals and picking pretty flowers...
