question about zone locks. Do we mark it if we were not there for the lock but took some of the BOs and keeps that helped get it locked?

Zone locks are mostly meant of events. If the raid group manages to cause a zone to lock it can be added by the leader of the event. This does not mean that "oh look dragonwakes about to cap lets fly there and wait for the free points" counts. The leader of your event must have done something to cause the flip.

I've always felt that is the way a "family" event should be..... The family has to be involved for it to count - kind of like I feel about being included in the family points - have to be there to contribute to the "taking" not just show up at the end. Just like last night - involved in 2 zone locks as were a couple of other Gaiscioch and I feel that I had something to do with the locks - but the "Gaiscioch" did not - not as a family - I don'tbelieve this should count either - not as a family event - Gaiscioch wasn't running any of the WB's. Now this may get me moreinvolved in running a WB - at least late at night....typically there are 3-4 Gaiscioch on running in the WB's. I was in my first big defense yesterday also in Reikwald....I have to say....very exciting.....

Was more like, what about people that are there for taking 2 keeps and a couple of BOs but the zone doesn't lock until after they went. That is contribution after all even if not able to fully able to reap the rewards in game.

ohhh - I seee your point. I would have to say if it was our family locking the zone and you participated to the extent you say but then had to log - then yes -chalk one up for you. But that is just my vote...

In the case your mentioning yes your raid leader could get away with claiming it. As long as they put the effort into making it cap.
