Anyone can go to your profile page and give you a token of Valor. Anyone of lesser rank that is. The location is in the Family Honor Record under your 'awards.' The problem being to give the token you have to find the player or the character they were playing. Of course this could be problematic if you are playing an alt and a person does go through the trouble of looking up the alts name in the Family Tree Members List and then assumes that the person has no profile. Now granted there is a character list to the side, and you can sort the names, but I am talking about a new member fresh to the site doesn't realize you have to be a member of the site to even get that rank or is not thinking, doesn't realize about the sort capabilities of the list or [ctrl+f], and has gone through the troubling process of finding the character name on the main roster will assume that the person just doesn't have a profile on the website? On top of that assuming they know that the Tokens of Valor are on the Profile Page, or even what the ToVs are, the location is small and difficult to see. [Otherwise I am sure Bulz would have noticed them as it was nicely detailed out in the Tokens of Valor posting]
Then again you can't make something for the lowest common denominator. Just a bit more high profile perhaps.
Either way, this is another point that Leadership Console/Fellowship Console is the main link to find these Tokens and as such is going to be where most people see the ability to use them, not the three link dig to get to the profile page of a specific character to hunt for the Token of Valor that is buried in the wall of stats. It does look nice and is effective just troublesome to get to if that person is not leading an event or doesn't have their character posted on the website even if they have a player profile -cough-Rhianan-cough-.
Which would mean that you have to make 15 tokens of not leading event to be able to lead an event? ..unless Freiciadan's could lead small PQs/Dungeon Raids then they would only have to fight for the first five tokens to get on the Leadership/Fellowship posting making it more visible to gain tokens. If that was the case, greatness.. make the first a bit more difficult, have to prove to the younger members and get them to join the site and add valor tokens good way to promote the website for the first 5 tokens and on.
However if you have to get 15, I would suggest an option for the leader to highlight a lower ranked members contribution to the event, a call out during events that is not a valor token but allows others who agree to easily give out a token. Perhaps a second lone for a good performer in the Family Tier + Freiceadan Rank. Just an option for greater visibility of the ToV award system.
