as participating?
The whole thing, the beginning?
I have missed a couple of starts to events and have not checked the box because I was not there for the beginning or the whole event.

If you there and you participate, can input the points. plus you have 7 days from the date of the event to input your points
The answer to your question is this. When an event goes down you always get the participation for it. That is the first thing always listed before any objectives are listed. If you come late just start on where you came in. Bulzeye
Didn't think so but wanted to be sure.
My thoughts.....go by your heart and soul.... Did you help in the taking of the objective? If you can answer in your heart and soul that you did - then check it off. I've rode up at the end of a taking and got a couple of whacks on the hero - I didn't really think I helped even though I did some damage - in my heart I couldn't say I "participated" even though I was there before the cap. I have also road up and helped in slaying one champion and taking down the hero and even though I came a little late I totally felt like I participated and was helping take the objective - so, yes, I checked that one off. If you go with your heart and soul - you will know what to do. Just my thoughts.....
I have no tier 3 characters. So on tier 3 raid night, I was running my lvl 19 SW all over the place picking up flight paths. Of course, by the time I reached the objective, it had been taken and it was time to move on to another zone. I still count that I participated since I was trying my hardest to make it. Of course, now that I have all the flight paths, I'm about to ding 20 anyway. Hehe, oh well.
Yes, If you are grouped up and part of the raid night you claim all events that were part of the raid night from the time you arrive to the time you leave. If your a scout that distracts destro you still get credit for the big picture. If you show up for 10 mintues but have to run you can still get points for attending the event.
The past Tuesday we split warbands twice to capture 2 BOs at same time, we were told to mark both, did not feel i did participate in the capture, till i got to thinking, as a "whole" our movements and tactics did actually make for participation of the taking of the other bo by drawing attention to the other one, same with keeps, if one wb send to the other in realm and sees no action being a distraction, your actions as a decoy are participation for the taking of the target.
