the war branch of Gaiscioch?

I was just curious about when we will start the gsch pvp room in guild wars 2?  I know it is prolly crazy to run 3 guilds in there currently without alliances, but i was wondering if we added the wvw/spvp branch would that clear out some room for members who want into gsch for overall fun and enjoyment of the game?

I am curretnly not able to chose my room being as i am still a member status and not veteran status but i think if we are planning on oppening that branch anyway maybe now, since the other gsch tags are getting full, would be better?

I am not sure of the ramifications of doing this but in my limited feild of view it seems a good idea to me.  I have 2 more friends i would like to bring into the guild but i keep reading that we are very close to max pop and the juggling act of /kicking to make more room so i am hesitant to try and jam more people in :)

The big probllem here is the multi guild system limits us to joining 3 guilds. without alliances it would divide us too much and we simply donthave the elder coverage for 4 guilds when elders can only be in 3.

Could you stagger the elders among the guilds? Elder A belongs to guilds 1, 2, 3. Elder B belongs to guilds 1, 2, 4. Elder C belongs to guilds 1, 3, 4. Elder D belongs to guilds 2, 3, 4. Just a thought on how you could maintain coverage.

Its hard enough to maintain 3. Until alliances come in were going to avoid this at all costs.

The other major challenge we have is the WvW branch would be the most desired and would pretty much be everyone. There are very few people that don't have PvP marked on their profiles.

The other issue I see is that because of the growing-pains of GW2's guild system and its overall design, there's a lot more work put on Elders than there was in Rift. As a non-elder officer in Rift, I frequently brought in new members, got them registered to the website, taught them how to claim credit, etc. You know, just basic stuff that new people need. Really, the only time you needed an Elder to intervene was if there was a conflict, and in my 10 months of Gaiscioch-Rift, I never called on an elder. In contrast, because of the limitations that remain in GW2, I (and everyone else) have had to rely on Elders frequently. And I do none of the helping new people. I don't even party with 'em, unless they happen to be on raidcall when I'm LFG. So in addition to all the usual Elder stuff, they're having to handle all the other stuff, too. ArenaNet will get there. The day they add chat-channels so we can /join tuatha and use it for questions, groups, etc -- just that alone will help alot.

cool...thank you for the replies. while re reading my original post i also discovered another flaw of opening another room for pvp.....you have to be veteran to even chose that branch so all the new people crowding the lower gsch rooms would still be there crowded...lol. it would basically only allow anu to join it..lol here is hoping gw2 comes in with the /join channel and or guild alliances soon :))

Rank comes pretty quickly if you're active in game and conscientious with the website.
