If you press G in game and it brings up the guild list check at the bottom to see that you are 'Representing' When Representing is turned off it doesn't let you see guild chat etc but if when you check you are definitely not in a guild then you can hover your mouse over 'Membership' at the top of the home page on the site here and see the Account Management section, click 'Request GW2 Invite'.
I've had this problem a couple times when something went whacky. It came back when I went to WvW.
I haven't recieved an invite to the guild, in game yet. I guess I probably need to join up in raidcall at times. It is impressive tho. I see tons of GSCH tags around every map im in.
Also if you play on another server other than sanctum of rall you will be removed from the in game roster. SoR residents only at this point.
Also if you need an invite click request reinvite on the mini profile on the homepage.
