A Question about Guilds...

Hey everyone!

I joined the guild about a month ago in order to tag along when GW2 releases.  I'm proud to be a part of things here!  I have a question that relates to in-game management of the guilds.

Perhaps I haven't found it, but I can't find any information anywhere about the guild/guilds that will be present in-game.  I have heard talk about various guilds that are focused on different aspects of the game such as Crafting and WvWvW.  Can someone fill me in or direct me to where that information is?

I'm excited to contribute and be a big part of what is going on, and can't wait to share some memories with you all.  Thanks!

As I understand it, everyone will be in the main branch (just plain Gaiscioch) until it reaches its maximum (500 members). Only at that point will Ben be opening the other rooms and allowing people to move over to them.

The big factor here is that we stay together until ArenaNet has the time to put Alliances in the game. Once that happens we will open our specialty rooms to our house. You can read about each room on our "branches" page of the about us section. This isn't something that's part of the gw2 mechanic persay. Its just a way that we've come up to which will allow us to continue to grow without restricting people to one play style and also allows specialized chat. The specialty branches will be for saighdear and above. All players below saighdear rank will be in our intro to gaiscioch room. We plan to make the saighdear rank a members coming of age. Hope this gives you some idea of what's going on. Atm we have focus groups setup and elders placed in each of these rooms to plan and see to it that their focus is taken care of and encouraged in our family. Wvwvw Lead is Vampiresbane, sPvP Lead is Spartan, Casual Gaming Prissy, Rift PvE: Hosfi, gw2 pve: Mijjah, roleplay: izmina, crafting: Laksmi. If you want to get involved seek them out.
