Greetings all! Thought I would add this since I am a new member and it seems like the thing to do!
Been playing MMOs since 1999 (Asherons Call and EQ)..and since then have played pretty much ever MMO out there (except for the million f2p asian ones)
Played DaoC for a number of years on Merlin server as Albion (Friar!). Migrated over to World of Warcraft (Silver Hand Horde, then Alliance).. I pretty much do nothing in that game anymore except to Raid, and even then its harder to get anything done.
Decided to check out Warhammer Online again. I played for a month when it was released. Was fun, but very hard to get anywhere at the time so took some time off.
Been playing Destro until my friend Wravyn pulled me over here, had some glowing things to say about this guild/alliance.
So here I am! I had an absolute BLAST the last few days taking and holding keeps with you folks. Hope to have more in the future!
As far as RL stuff goes, well heres where its interesting. I only recently got into tabletop Warhammer 40k (still in the building/painting stages..havent played a game).
I have Irish blood in me, and believe it or not.. I live in Kent, WA.. I know its crazy! (actually, you wouldnt believe the number of peopel on Silver Hand WoW that live here as well)
(thought it was interesting since it was pointed out there was some meet-n-greet thing this weekend here)
As far as play schedule goes.. its fairly hit or miss. I just canned my WoW account so I dont have to raid anymore..but I have a newborn daughter who, despite all the people telling me how much babies sleep, does not sleep...at all. I tend to AFK ALOT so I usually spend my time grinding influence when online during the day so I can easily AFK out.
For other hobbies besides WH40K, I used to play music, and was into art and I do Graphic Design , but I broke my right (drawing) hamd a few years ago doing my other passion, which is MMA (mixed Martial Arts). A blown knee later I no longer do that hehe (although BJJ or Sambo might be in my future, since you cant find any Judo around here). Im a huge petrol head (Top Gear!!) as well.
