Is there a site I can preview mix n match armour at?

I'm aware of www.GW2armor.com which is really nice in showing me what each set looks like on each race/gender but I was wondering if there was a site or app or utility that lets me select an armour piece (or skin) for each slot and then renders what my toon would look like with that combination.

Basically something as close to the in-game preview window as possible but with a database of item skins to call from so I can mix n match a set more easily.

Thanks!

gw2db.com has codes that you can paste into chat in game, then right-click to preview. It's a bit awkward because you have to keep alt-tab between your browser and the game, but is the most veridical.

While this would be an awesome application, there is basically no way to render out the individual parts that especially considering possible collisions would be massive undertaking that boils down to rewriting ANets rendering software. You could potentially use a screen shot based application similar to a pin up doll but it would take a ton of screenshots and would still not correctly show you what your character would look like. Mulch's suggestion is the best chance you have.

I usually just use the PvP Lockers in the Heart of the Mists. You can preview all kinds of combinations plus weapons and culturals, and when you find something that you like the look of, check up online where to get teh PvE version ^_^

I used the PvP lockers last night and that was awesome! Assuming that all the armour available in the game is viewable via the PvP lockers it's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much for the tip and I suggest anyone looking to do the same try the lockers.

PvP locker was also how I nailed down the look I want back then, I just wish there was a way to let me play with dyes as well in the preview mode anyone know?

Sadly, PVP Locker is the typical way, but its not entirely accurate. Its also very difficult to find out how and where to acquire the normal armor versions, very few sites have updated their data. edit: Here is a site that I've found somewhat useful: http://carsen.dreamhosters.com/game/gw2/armormedium.htm
