So yeah

I now officially hate my phone. 

I am planning on proposing to my GF of 6 years while we are up in Maine next week.  And was talking to my wife through text  about finally finishing our divorce we have been seperated these 6 years.(we've stayed good friends) And then started telling her about the plan and such and sent her a pic of the ring(like i said we stayed good friends). And durign the talk it decided to sent 1 of the messages to my girlfriend instead. Thankfully all it said was what do you think she likes blue and doesn't want traditional thought for 59 dollars not bad at all.(she doesn't like me spendign lots of money of jeweler and always said if we do get married it better be under 100). 

Then I get a text back saying ? and thats when i realised that 1 went to her. I played it off that I was talking to my ex about a gift for an old friend of ours in W.P.B but not sure if she beleives it. 

Really hoping this stupid phone didn't just ruin it for her.

Ouch! :D Good luck! It sounds like you managed to wiggle through just fine, though. When I got married, my job was to plan the honeymoon. The only rule was it had to be a surprise. I'd tell her what to pack, take her to the airport, and she wouldn't find out until we got to the gate. So I planned this very carefully over a period of about two months. Then, about a month before the wedding, while my fiance and I were talking to my dad, he said "so, did you get everything squared away for Costa Rica?" All the air went out of the room. Ruined. But! It all turned out fine. The surprise came early, but it was the best trip I've ever been on, and with my favorite person. That's all that matters. :)

Any girl worth her salt will play along and still love you for going to the trouble of making her feel special. Even if still does figure it out, it's not as big a deal as you think it is. You have nothing to worry about, but yeah your phone sucks ;o)

I mean she knows i will be doing it sometime soonish we've pretty much got used to the idea of always being together and the if we have kids is now the when are we having kids point. But she knows after my last marriage that I'm not big on marriage. To me it will always just be a piece of paper to make life easier paperwork wise. We all ready live with each other and lover each other a piece of paper doesn't mean anything else. Its not like it can't be broken. But I know she really always wanted a wedding so I'm going to do my best to give her one. As much as i dislike it this is going to be for her not me. She deserves it after putting up with me for the last 6 years.
