This is good to know. I know the bug reporting system allows you to mark things as exploits. I would do that and then also do the email letting them know you also bugged it. A lot of info goes into the bug reports you don't see. Be as specific and concise as you can explaining any exploit (same goes for a bug for that matter). From having worked on maintenance tickets in IT/Telecom, the better you can describe the problem the easier the fix for the tech.
I tried that address and got a delivery failure notification.
