If you got a password reset email before ArenaNet turned the feature off, it means a hacker has confirmed that your email address has an account and you may be a target of having your account compromised.
You should either change your email completely, or change the way your email appears so your login information will change.
With most email providers, you can easily change your login email by adding a + or a -. If my email address was eliisa@gmail.com (it's not), I could go into my account settings for GW2 and change my email to eliisa+gw2@gmail.com. The email provider will ignore anything after the +. Your login information changes but any email that ArenaNet sends out will go to your actual email.
You can also do a smilar thing with periods. eliisa@gmail.com is the same thing as e.l.i.i.s.a@gmail.com
It may be slightly different for other email providers, but ask and I'll try to google away for you!
To change your ArenaNet email
1. Go to guildwars2.com
2. Login as normal
3. Click my account and change things there.
OH and obviously change your password to something long that combines numbers, upper case, lower case, and special characters. (Odd sentences are good!)
