So, my hd got corrupted and I gotta reinstall. Reinstall over a Verizon hotspot with a total throughput of less than 1 Mbps.
I am watching the installer download and at present it is sitting at 273MB downloaded for 0%. Can someone take a look at their dat file and tell me what it says?

Ah bad luck :/ well on my computer Gw2.dat size is little bit over 40GB so 273MB would be pretty much 0% if launcher only shows full percentage.
Well then. Guess I got a bit of time to invest in rewatching futurama or disenchantment.
Yeah, back before I had fiber, in the days I did DLs at 240Kbps if I was lucky, It would take HOURS for a full DL and install of GW2 and ESO and other games of the size. I'm spoiled with fiber now and all my stuff goes around 7Mbps without a problem. Most DLs will run around 10% of what a speedtest says. At least, that is how I've seen it for most of my time on the internet. It can vary depending on how you connect, but is about how it works on most games for me on several different setups (cable, DSL close to ISP connect, DSL way out in boonies, and Fiber).
