Volkoth,
Unfortunately, crafting in this game is not a viable way to make gold; in fact, its a really good way to waste it. It is a tool to use if you want to level a character quickly, and have some materials or gold to burn. While yes, you could potentially use it to craft level 80 rares to salvage for ecto, you're really not making much more (if any) than you would if you just sold the mats directly.
As for AC runs, that used to work really well before they refreshed the dungeon. Now, I don't think its worth it.
The best way to make consistant gold currently is to either farm the Dragon chests using any number of timers available online (super boring in my opinion), or farm a few select dungeon paths. Some things to note here:
* They removed the diminishing returns (DR) for running dungeons quickly. You still hit DR for running the same path on the same character per day, but thats it now, no more account level DR as far as I'm aware. This means you could run your dungeon path of choice as many times as you have characters capable of doing them, for full rewards, once per day. For example, I have 8 level 80s, so I could run CoF 1 8 times in a row without experiencing ANY DR.
* Some dungeon paths are obviously better choices than others. My suggestion is to try them all, and decide which you enjoy most, or which you find to be the easiest/fastest.
* Try to run with the same people as often as you can. Establishing group synergy is absolutely key in completing ANY dungeon content smoothly and efficiently.
* Add me to your friends list in game. I am always looking to run quick dungeon paths, and lately I have been spending more time combing my friends list for a group than actually dungeoning! I've decided that until Alliance Chat is implemented, the best way for me to get into contact with others who want to run is by checking my 'Followers' list. So, anyone who wants to get a whispered invitation to come plow through a dungeon, go ahead and /friend me : ) (My account info is in the header)
