My God... It's Full Of Stars!

Last night was clearly a moment for me similar to Dave Bowman at the end of "2001: A Space Odyssey" where he is finally exposed to the secrets of the universe and is reborn as the "Star Child". Okay, maybe not THAT dramatic, but it was fun to run a WvW zerg for the first time and see what was on the other side of the curtain. "Smitty's Sabres" kicked off last night and my knees were shaking. I knew in my mind what I should say, I had heard it all before said to me. But running a group proved to be both exciting and nerve-wracking.
First, I'd like to apologize. The etiquette was not fully placed on me yet as to ensuring that I had not clashed with another commander. The mechanics for doing so were graciously explained to me after the fact and I will do my best to ensure that it doesn't happen again.
My mini zerg performed beautifully... Camps fell, towers were taken and we came to the rescue of the larger zerg running on the same map, pinching our enemy inside Bay and claiming a huge victory! To all who stuck it out and ran with me, the Sabres were rattled and we were heard!
I was encouraged enough by those who ran with me last night that I will schedule another run again next week and hope to see you all there!
