It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of another wonderful member of Sanctum of Rall community. Since 2012, Sawda has roamed the Borderlands acting as a lone scout for the Sanctum of Rall. No commander has ever tagged up on the Sanctum of Rall without his useful scouting reports becoming a staple to the experience. Sawda was a loving and caring man who was a perfect example for what we should all be as human beings. He was witty, kind and never missed a moment to help a person in need. I know Sanctum of Rall will miss his ever watchful eye over the borderlands and his calming demeanor in our voice coms.
Sawda was an avid fisherman and enjoyed a wide range of sports. To us, he was a magniciant scout, helped raise resources for our Great Tyrian Adventure and Extra Life prizes and kept our commanders equipped with siege weaponry. He was a terrific friend and a wonderful mentor to many of us. His presence will be deeply missed and no words can even begin to describe the loss we feel with his absence.
To honor him, I have created a post on the official Guild Wars 2 site asking ArenaNet to consider adding an Eagle to the Northern Supply Camp on the Borderlands to pay tribute to Sawda's ever watchful preasance. Please share a story at: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/116418-in-loving-memory-of-jim-sawda-gillum-1958-2022-of-sanctum-of-rall/?tab=comments#comment-1682167 and let others know how you remember Sawda
