I have a slightly odd question/comment. I was recently raised to the rank of Saighdear, but I also noted that our guild's "unofficial recreational division of the Gaiscioch Social Gaming Community run by veteran members to create a fun and enjoyable community in unsupported games" is also call Saighdear. I found online that the definition means soldier and just thought it odd to have both a division of the family and a rank of the family to have the same name. It actually confused me awhile ago when I was perusing through the website looking at all the different pages.
I was just curious how it came to be that both the rank and the unofficial division used the same term. Just an odd thought as I'm about to head to bed after a long day of work.
