So not only is the ESO patch process super slow, but I had to uninstall yet another game when the ESO folder bloated up over 50GB. This is ridiculous.

I've gotten 2 bsod's while trying to patch. Doing a HD check to see if something might be going wonky with my disk but yeah its gonna be a bit before I get in.
Apparently we now need 75+ GB of free space (up from 60) for this patch to work.
Also, if the forums are a true indication, those folks who can get in are suffering from serious bugs, zone crashes and rollbacks, and a memory leak in Cyrodiil.
Not really sure where the information you are getting about stability, bugs and crashes but game was extremely stable with little to no latency, framerate, bug, or crash issues for me. I was ingame from 1600 EST to 1130 EST. During those time i was in raidcall with between 6 and 10 others and not a one of us had any of those issues.
I notices some some hick ups off and on, mainly in Craglorn, but honestly I expected it - this is like a whole new game in many ways. Took me about 20 minutes to download but I pay for that extra speed through Cox. In terms of space the game takes up, sadly most MMOs seem to be like that. I want to say SWTOR was about 50 gb and a couple others I had on my old computer were about the same. Right before I got my new computer, I want to say had maybe 40gb of free space left, YIKES.
The size made it so I had to install on an older SATA drive and not the SSD I wanted to, but aside from taking about 3 hours I had no other trouble with the Update, and it's been completely lag/error free playing since. It's disappointing to hear so many had troubles :( I hope everyone can get updated and in game to enjoy the goodness
