This is a guide to help you gather racial motiffs in the fastest and most efficient manner, as far as Davon's Watch goes. In each area, you want to focus on trunks, desks, wardrobes, and nightstands. I've included a map with each location and photos from each area so you know you are in the right place! This method is best by running it once and then switching to an alt and running it again. Logging off is a big part of it. If you stay on and try to repeat the cycle, you will find it doesn't work. (It may be possible to log off and back on to the same toon you just used. I haven't tested that.) All of it is phased loot so it's only for you. If an item is already open, that's just luck of the draw, not someone beating you to it.
** Also, I've found that the level of the loot seems to be based on your progress on the map. I have spent ALL of my time in Davon's Watch until a bit ago, when I ran up the coast looking for excitement. I went up past Ebonheart to where everything was level 10. Upon my return to DW, I noticed that now I am getting higher tier loot from all the trunks, desks, etc. I did pick up level 7, so that MIGHT have something to do with it. I will be testing it out on an alt tomorrow. Run alt run! ** Updated ** Took a level 3 alt to Deshaan and got level 19 drops but upon returning to DW, drops were the same lowbie items. Looks like it only changed because I hit 7 with my main. Crafting level didn't seem to impact it at all.
There are 14 images total and to save bandwidth, I reduced the quality level so the page should load without too much trouble.

Start:
1. You want to begin at the Davon's Watch bank. On the landing at the back is a trunk
2. Make a right after exiting the bank and head into the Mage's Guild. Head up the stairs. Stay to your right and descend the stairs once you reach the top. At the bottom of the stairs, make a button-hook right and the desk is right there. It's easy to miss!
3. Leave the Mage's Guild and turn right when you exit. The Inn is right there! Loot the front desk!
Head left and in the back is a trunk and a pack.
Head upstairs and once you get to the top, head left into the room. Desk in front and more in back! Lots of goodies in this room!

4. Leave the inn and head to the Sadreno house, where you arrived after you escaped Cold Harbor. A pack, dresser, and chest await!
5. Exit Sadreno and go to the enchanting crafting area. The building is called 'Singing Shard'. Inside on a landing in the back, you will find a trunk and a wardrobe.
6. Outside on the other side of the fountain, you will see two covered wagons. One has hanging dry goods, the other a trunk!
7. From there, make your way to the Fighter's Guild. There is a desk in the entry way.
Head upstairs and go through the door. On the other side, you will find a wardrobe and desk.
8. Next stop, Merail Manor! It's a bit of a trek, so mount up! Once inside, a dresser and a night stand await! It's easy to miss the nightstand as it's right up against the wall on your right.
On the landing in the back, you will find a trunk.
9. Leave and head towards Indoril Mansion. It sits just to the right after the 'traffic loop'. Once inside, go into the right room and loot the desk.
Then go upstairs and there is a room to the left and one to the right. Both have lots of things to loot!
10. Leave the mansion and head to the last stop, the windmill. Hard to miss that one! Inside on the left, you will find a trunk!
That's it! You are done. Now switch to an alt and run the route again. Everything should have respawned. Just keep alternating until you have the motiffs you want. You can travel to the other inn on the SW portion of the map, but it's a bit out of the way and not efficient.
