Gaiscioch Website Enables Ludicrous Speed

Just like Darth Helmet I went ahead and pushed the red button. To a similar effect, I was scrambling to get everything working again. The Good news is we're mostly back up and running. We've made a significant hardware and backend software upgrade.

Gaiscioch Community Summit Delayed to March 19th, 2023

Yeah so, I know I've delayed it twice already and I'm sorry. But this past week has really put a hurt on being able to complete all the things I needed to do. I could not work on any of it last week so I will be delaying it until Sunday, March 19th. Life just simply hasn't allowed me the time to complete the necessary things to get this one off the ground. I promise it will be worth the wait :)

I wanted to take a moment to say congratulations to a few members this month for accepting their next credo and stepping into a new role in our family.

Guardians (Seaimpín)

The Gaiscioch Family Guardians are an advanced part of the Veteran Members group and serve as the front line of our family. They help newer members learn about the family, our website, and our belief system. They occasionally will need to help get conversations back on track, or report misdoing's to the family elders. They act as advisors, guidance providers, and overall protectors of the family name. By this time a member should be involved in the family for more than 6 months and has been an active attendee in family events. For those who prefer fellowship over leadership this is the last stop on the family tree. Members must prove their leadership ability to progress to the Leadership ranks through the accumulation of both Valor Points (Earned through leading events.) as well as earning Tokens of Valor from lower ranked members of the family.

Chapter 4:

Guild Wars 2 Moves to New Content Plan

Over the past month, ArenaNet announced that it plans to move away from the free living world story expansions, to a more accelerated content plan to bring expansions on a much more frequent basis with small content packs included in each expansion. These new expansions will be for a reduced price and include content drops throughout the year.

Legacy of Crassus Event Launches

Be sure to check out The new Legacy of Crassus Event running now through March 7th. Hunt down General Crassus' monstrous captains and banish the shadow of Roman tyranny in an all-new event. Following a plan set in motion long ago, Crassus' forces have invaded the southern lands to unleash the cyclopses Lucanus and Decimus. Players brave enough to face these world bosses can search for portals in Brightwood, Weavers Fen, Mourningdale, Ebonscale Reach, and Edengrove. Each victory nets Adventurers event-specific, daily rewards.

Big News Drops for Throne and Liberty

As if players were not excited enough about the possibility of having another chapter-tiered contender dropping sometime around summer this year. News has arrived this month that Amazon Game Studios will be the Western publisher for the game with the publishing rights for North / South America, Japan, Oceania, and Europe.

Gaiscioch Ranks in Top 5 Post Launch

Our venture into Gloria Victis is going strong. We have about 30 active players between our two guilds. We have Gaiscioch set up for our most active players to help drive the levels up creating more space for more players. The top earners from GaisciochDubh will be migrated over to Gaiscioch as more space is unlocked. GaisciochDubh serves as an overflow and sister clan for the more inactive players but is still part of the alliance so they aren't too distant.

This year is shaping up to be an excellent year for MMORPGs. Our old favorites like Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, New World, and Conqueror's Blade have all announced their plans for the first half of 2023 and we've seen a wealth of new games popping up with hopes to release in 2023.
