Guild Wars 2 Recipe Book

Greetings all!  Your friendly neighborhood Smitty here...

I'm a guy who loves food, in all varieties.  So when I look at all the magnificent tidbits that our characters get to eat in-game, it sometimes gets me hankering to try a few of them out!  I wonder if anyone out there does too...

That being said, I think it is high time that we give some in-game recipes some real-world love, and come up with our own takes on some Tyrian delicacies!

Here is a list of 20 meals from GW2.  Choose an item and reply to this post with your choice so we can reserve it for you.  Then, it is up to you to come up with a recipe in the style of Guild Wars!  No chickens here...  It's all about the Moa!  Cows?  Mooooove over...  We're chewing Yak meat!  And vegetables...  Well, don't let the Sylvari see you getting too close with a chef's knife.  Reply to this post with your completed recipe.  Don't forget to take a picture of your completed meal and attach it as well.

Deadline for recipes is: September 30th!

Once we have the recipes, they will be formatted into recipe cards and posted in the October edition of the Gaiscioch Magazine with your name attached.  So, lets get cooking!

that sounds like a fintastic idea :)

And I already have an ideo of what to make. So i would like to claim the Sweet and Spicy Butternut Squash Soup. 

I will figuere something out and let you know what me and my mother came up with :)

I am making my Bowl of Gelatinous OOze Custard as I type - you want pictures and recipe where?

I tested my version of Lemongrass Poultry Soup last night and it passed the husband test.  I'm just double-checking the text and I'll have it submitted.  (I loved the fun and freedom involved in creating a recipe!)

 Should have mine written up for you this weekend Smitty. I'll toss it in a google doc and put it in the magazine folder
