Getting into the Crafting Store

I have a question about the new guild rooms. It's not that important to me right now, but it might be to others, and maybe myself in the future.

To be a member of the Crafting Store we need 100 artisan points. I was just looking through the marketplace and didn't see any crafting orders. So no way to make artisan point through the market place (at least not today when I was looking). For newcommers or previous non-crafters like me, my thought is that it will be very hard to get into the Crafting Store? And won't it be possibly be even more difficult when trades pick up due to a better trading system in-game? Or is there something I overlooked? (wouldn't be the first time ;) )

there are demands for crafting stuff daily, not always big stuff, but they pop up all the time,  ppl will just have to keep there eyes open for them... as time goes by you will see more and more orders on there.

 you can also donate items to get points,  or fill orders for mats , i filled a order last week for a imperial motif that was worth 1300 points , but even low lvl items add up like alchemy plants runes etc .

There were over 2000 orders filled last month. Be sure to keep an eye on the items needed area and claim what you can when you see it available. Things typically don't stay on the wishlist for long. We're averaging a 15 minute turn around for item orders.

Dirkdaring, that would get me contribution points, not artisan points.

 the only stuff i ever see posted is people asking for low lvl items with certain traits ,  with everyone able to craft everything most people are going to request mats and a rare trait item now and then ,

 I`ve never requested anything , in 2 years ,  since i craft everything  , so guess i`ll put a couple orders up to help

 Ok  i placed 8 orders for armor on the market place  for those needing Artisian points , ready set go !  hehe 

I'm placing a few too, going to put all my research needs on there and store the items on an alt until my research slots open up.

I'll be trying to nail down the missing weapons and armor recipes here. This week. If anyone wants to brave the alchemy recipes to make sure there all in there that would be awesome. Provisioning is getting a complete rebuild so I'll have to flush all entries out post patch and rebuild that recipe adder to fit the new provisioning system. Hopefully it's not too drastic. Remember if you can craft something check the marketplace to make sure someone has entered it. If it's not in there add it using the "add recipe" button.

Hey Fog, the one thing missing is being able to order items that are upgraded to green, blue, purple and yellow.  We can only order white stuff at the moment unless you just recently changed something I missed.  ;)

Also, everyone should go read the updated post http://www.gaiscioch.com/tavern/eso_discussion/post_67557.html and at the end of Fog's main message it explains the materials and armory guilds even more than the newsletter.  I just helped with the initial start of these by making sure the right items already in one or the other were in the correct places and to organize stacking due to one of them being over 420 slots filled.  If you still have questions, don't be afraid to ask.

And good luck getting Artisan points if you want them - a lot does happen on the market place and yes within MINUTES.  I've seen it turn around almost immediately at times.  And things may turn around more on that front going forward, but a lot of people are doing the crafting and end up not having to order stuff, too, except for research.  Just bare with the system and snag what you want to do when you see it because it won't be there long.

 i have a toon that is has most of the recipes learned for alchemy , at least on most of the plants all 4 potions for each plant are known cept for a couple of plants  there are also a few siteas  that list all the recipe combos .

ESO Crafting does have a good site. What I've found and used extensively was this: http://tamrieljournal.com/alchemy-simulator/

It gave me a chance to experiment a lot and was an excellent reference to what 4 traits were for on each gathered mat.

I think you don't lose much of anything if you are not in the two crafting guilds.  You can still order things and fill order here on the website.

Correct me if I am wrong, these two store front guilds are mainly for outside general public to buy stuff from gsch crafters.  Internally we can still use the market system and Fog will be improving the market system and earning more crafting points should be easier once that is done too.
