Asking for An Invite to Main GSCH

To get an invite you MUST be on server Orwen, channel Calpheon02 at the time of the invite.

Get on Discord and ask for an invite to the guild of your choice. We have three currently for family members:

GSCH - leader Briseadh

ArachDubh - leader Fog

Teaghlach - leader Jace/Xcelius (second name is his discord name and BDO family name)

All three are viable and there is no such thing as a main room. I want that connotation to be history as of right now. =) 

If you really do prefer to be in GSCH, you must be on the registered list. No matter which one you wind up in you will be with family and helping us work together.

As noted elsewhere we will only shrink to GSCH if we all can fit in it with some buffer room. I'm thinking when we are sure we are down to 90 for sure players then we will go to one.

Also note, the removal from GSCH at any time to keep it organized is nothing against you, but at this time if you are inactive 14 days in GSCH without letting us know you are going away from the game, you may be removed, but can come back to any of the open guilds upon your return to the game. On Discord there is a wall called Status - if you are going to be away for a lengthy time please post there so the leaders now.

Does that mean that if we're not in GSCH, then we should click Leave on the social adventure page?

No you should no click leave, but if you ever want an invite just make sure you request one

This is just for the invite list Fog made for us to track GSCH only, not to track everyone who might be playing that is associated to the family over all. =)

What happened is some mistakes and miscommunications yesterday and we had to just decide how to proceed even if some people probably are not happy with me. In the long run I don't have three different things going on now confusing the officers, who really do most of the invite checking anyway.

So going forward only people on the invite list on here will be check for each opening as they occur. We will work out the timing if they must leave another guild to join GSCH if they want to do that. There is a 24 hour cool down between leaving one guild and joining a new one.

There is the option of hopping on Discord and PMing Hayword who has a little guild and spends a lot of time lurking (as he says) in our Discord. You may want to talk to him to see if chilling with his little guild until GSCH has a space.

We do not have GSCH2 now and GSCH naming has to be approved by Fog since the naming is his. 

So another alternative is those not guilded yet can also work to form their own little guild if they like if they do not want to fly solo until we have spaces.

We are not kicking anyone from GSCh unless they have been gone at least 7D without word and mostly if they do not have an updated contract. Most of our definite regulars staying on have been upped this week to 30 day contracts and know to report in if they will be gone more than 7 or 8 days.

Just checking to see that I was on the list for a guild invite when there is space. Llew was graceful enough to share one of his Guest invites and I have since purchased the game and am working hard to catch up. I am on almost every days and enjoying myself.

I am on Discord most nights, listening anyway. Mic challenged.

Bri we do have a second GSCH people just need to come ask me for an invite. I'm in discord almost all day and I afk fish almost all day. I'd love to have more people in our Second GSCH as I want to do some easy missions that aren't fish a bazillion fish you'll never catch.

To get an invite into the second GSCH please do the following:

1. Add Daghdre and Danann to your friends list. Family Name: Foghladha
2. Join our Discord server by going to: http://gsch.info/ce or http://gsch.info/bdo 
3. PM [GSCH] Foghladha and let me know your online. I'll open my fishing and send the invite. You can also reach out to Darkenwald (Tabitha) aka Sekkerhund for an invite. Both of us usually AFK fish all day.

FYI for folks, BDO's "add friend" instructions are backwards.  You have to use a character name in the text box, which then adds the family name to your Friend list.  Once the family name is added, it will show whenever they are online and what character they are playing.  (you may have to play with it to get it to work correctly, I remember something goofy with a checkbox and whatever)

So for Fog, use one of his toon names, it will add his family name to your list and then you can send him a friend message by right clicking his family name on your Friend list.  (friend messages are different from whispers, oddly enough)

For me, just add Tabitha since it's easiest to spell and remember.

edit:  We'll have to Accept Request on our end, however it's not really all that visually obvious that requests are waiting on the Request List, so please have patience if we don't notice it quickly.

Note: A lot of discussion occurred about what to do and some of decided to make another guild (in progress) with definite active leaders who aren't just afk fishing. Nothing against you Fog, but the impression of what you want to do with this is well Foggy. ;) We don't have people hunting you down despite telling them of the option when did have the GSCH2 and still have the livestream. 

Anyway, there will be a guild called Teaghlach forming up after the 24 hour cool down for the 5 or so forming it can do so - prime time today 3/25. It will initially hold 15, but I would not be surprised if it will hold 30 in short order.

So I am going to update the initial post with the options of what people can do to stay with family. We definitely have a hard core that is always in Discord whether text only at times or voice or both. I do spend a lot of time checking it randomly during the day.

Added note, all people currently on the registered invite queue have been contacted via the website at the least.

bumping since I totally overhauled and shortened the information.

I'm seeing that people are registering, but few are properly getting in the right place on the game and in Discord to properly get invited. We have about 12 people in limbo because invites cannot occur by family name and definitely can't occur unless you are online at the time and in the same channel as the leader/officer sending you the invite. 

Usually we coordinate on Discord and then get a whisper going because we can click on the char name in the whisper and actually do the guild invite.

NOTE: friend's list has to be char name on at the time and in same channel so that it works. After that it will show the person by family name and any char they logon as even if they are not in the same channel.

Here I thought that getting people invites in BnS was a PITA.  At least I don't have to deal with backwards name entry dealies.  LOL  (seriously tho, they can't fix that?  I can't imagine that they consider it that low of a priority, because any translation/localization issue should be at least a Pri 2 bug, if not a Pri 1...)
