Ebonheart Map Clearance: Eastmarch

I have really been looking forward to the Eastmarch run! I missed the last one and my character finally finished the zone, so I knew that I'd be getting a lot done. I enjoy these map clearing events so much - whether or not they start small, we pick up so many people along the way and just have a great time. Each member of the group is given the best situation in which he or she can complete objectives. It's great to break free of the solo mentality and get back into doing things with a group.

I've noticed that I have a bad habit of picking up every single gatherable on the map as soon as I see it. I always feel so torn, going through these events, because I want to pick ALL the things - but I try to be conscious of the other group members and hurry it along. I accidentally started a world boss fight this evening by going after some hickory, and promptly got myself eaten by sabre cats. Immediately after the fight, I ran back to get the hickory, but someone else nabbed it! There's a lesson on patience in there somewhere, I think...or at least an inside joke.
